Only the best Paris nightclubs, bars and restaurants

Welcome to Eagle Paris

Hello everyone and welcome to Eagle Paris. I've started setting up this website a couple of times now, but my other hobbies and obligations somehow always get in the way. Eagle Paris is website that I plan on using as a sort of a journal of the nightlife and bar scene in Paris, France, where I currently live. My name is Joshua and I'm an interior decorator by day. Other hobbies of mine include paintball, bicycling, rock climbing, flying long distance remote controlled drones (highly recommended, especially from the Eiffel tower) and of course going out with friends.

Nightlife to keep you alive

Latter is what I enjoy doing the most. Visiting bars, nightclubs, restaurants, that whole scene is what makes life worth living in my opinion. Paris is a great town to live in, because it has some of the best locations to have a good time, to dance, let off steam after a hard day's work. Originally I'm from San Francisco, but I moved to Paris after receiving a job offer here. I just couldn't resist living in the fashion capital of the world, or very close to it, depending on the year.

Top Paris restaurants

If you’re living in Paris and you have friends from home visiting you, Plaza Athénée is the place where you need to take them if you want them to experience the ave and glamor of the Paris restaurant scene. It is one of those Michelin star awarded....

Music is the way to go

Some people say that time heals all wounds. Well in my case music gets the job done much faster. Nightclubs like Queen, Rex and L'Arc are just some of the favorites of mine where I found the best music selection in Paris. I call these three my weekend getaways, because odds are good you'll find me in one of them, dancing, drinking and just having a good time in general. I don't go alone there though. My friends Jason and Pierre are my backup. We're the three musketeers and they'll probably be featured on this website, I just need to convince them to join, 🙂 .

If you're drinking, you need to eat

Luckily, and I don't know if I've already mentioned this, but I live in Paris. After fashion, food is the second thing that this great city is known for. Some of the best restaurants and bars in the world are located here. Recently I talked to one of my coworkers and she told me that there's something like 70 restaurants in Paris which were rewarded with the famous Michelin star. A Michelin star is basically like an Oscar for restaurants.

Bar scene to the rescue during the week

During the week, while I'm working, it's difficult to visit a nightclub. Many of them don't even have any kind of interesting events Monday-Friday, that one might go and enjoy in. That is why I've embraced the practice of visiting bars and unwinding there after work. Now that I come to think about it, going to a bar after work isn't something that unique. Millions of people do it every day. Not sure why I'm under the impression I'm the pioneer in this field, to be honest. What I'm trying to day is that Paris bar scene is also going to be covered, seeing how I have wast experience in it.

Dance your worries away

Paris nightclubs are notorious for their dance parties. I don't have the time to check, but I'm sure that if you compare a workout at the gym with a decent enough dance session at the club like Mix Club, you'll see that about the same amount of calories is burned. Dancing is good for you and clubs like Le Chacha, Gibus and Le Rétro Dancing are perfect places to get your feet wet, so to speak, in the Paris dance scene. Many more clubs with different themes exist. What you need to do is choose one that you like the most and go with it. Don't be shy, because there are people there with different skill levels, dancing like no on is watching, which is how you're supposed to be dancing.

Nightclub party gallery

We live in a time when if no photos exist of an event, and they aren't shared on social media, then the event didn't happen. Some of you might think that I'm just all talk, and not the kind of party animal that I've made myself out to be. In an effort to defend my honor, I've setup a quick photo gallery here and more in-depth one at the gallery page, where I'll be posting photos from my nights out, weekends at the club, evenings at the bar, you name it. I've been taking photos over the years, but I never posted them anywhere. Now that I have this website it seems like a good place to start uploading my collection. Hopefully ya'll find something you like.
